随着改革开放的深入发展和国际商务活动的日趋频繁,越来越多的企业迫切需要能用英语进行商务洽谈的商务英语人才。至今,全国已有300多所高等院校和上千所社会力量办的高等教育院校开设了商务英语课程,以应此急需。 过去在许多地方由于学习环境和条件的限制,很多人的英语读写能力有一定基础,但是真正洽谈起来,还是有不少话听不太懂,有不少事说不清楚;或者无意中将书面形式上了口,表达得很生硬,很不得体;或者满口“中国式英语”, 英语口头表达得不地道。 本书针对我国国情和对外商务的需要,以简明的常规英语和切合实际的内容,帮助读者提高外语水平和口头交际能力。 本书共分29个单元,按入境、接待、预约、业务拜访、参观工厂、产品介绍、订货、议价、签约、装运、索赔等过程依次排列。外商投资、房产租赁、委任代理等主题以及打电话、求职面试、记者采访、观光游览、宴请、问题以及商务洽谈前后的应酬寒暄等皆有专题讲述。 每个单元分为五部分: 1.实例会话-- 根据实际工作中常见的情况,把人们在这一场合下通常想说和应该说的最基本的内容,组织编写成不同情景的几段小对话以方便背诵记忆。 2.基本句--以对话形式(不是单句形式,有助于培养应对能力)列出本单元主题下最基本的句子,句句都具有实用性,简单明了;并衍生出在相同情况下或不同情况下的各种应答方式和表达方式,扩大了使用时的可选择性。 3.常用句--以对话形式列出本单元主题下常用的其他语句,以扩展会话内容,补充实例小对话内容的不足,提供给读者更广泛的灵活运用面。 4.词汇注释--将各单元的实例会话、基本句、常用句中的单词和短语都结合课文内容加注,分别说列于后,便于读者查阅,省却了查词典的麻烦。 5.参考译文--无论是会话、基本句或常用句皆有汉语参考译文逐句对照排列,便于学习时理解和查阅。 本书适用于稍有英语基础,目前正在从事或准备从事外贸、工贸或在外资企业从业的涉外工作的人员;也可供大专院校学生,尤其是商务英语强化班的学员,以及英语口语爱好者提高口语和听力选用。
